Make the beginning of the school year special with this quick and fun breakfast treat for your children. Vanilla yogurt or fruit-flavored yogurts such as strawberry or blueberry work well, and anything from Cheerios to Fruity Pebbles to homemade granola can be used for the crunchy cereal layer. On the weekends, when you have more time, encourage your kids build their own parfaits with ingredients of their choice.

Assorted berries, such as blueberries, raspberries and strawberries
Yogurt, flavor of choice
Cereal, flavor of choice
Spoon fruit into the bottom of a tall glass (wine glasses or champagne flutes are fun to use). Layer yogurt on top of the fruit, then sprinkle cereal over the yogurt. Continue to layer until the glass is just about full.
